The use of carbon fiber is primarily a technical choice. Carbon fiber is an excellent thermal insulator, helping direct cool air to the engine and prevent temperature increases. Replacing the original air box with a CDA directs cool air straight to the filter inside, and thanks to the deflector, the air is accelerated and pressure loss is reduced to a minimum (exclusive patented system; see the technical diagram on the following page).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe kit is supplied with a flexible aluminum duct (60 cm long), which allows a forced-air intake to be installed beside the grille to improve the airflow.
