The CDA kit consists of a cylindrical air box made from genuine carbon fiber, containing a washable and reusable filter element. The use of carbon fiber is primarily a technical choice. Carbon fiber is an excellent thermal insulator, helping direct cool air to the engine and prevent temperature increases. Replacing the original air box with a CDA directs cool air straight to the filter inside, and thanks to the deflector, the air is accelerated and pressure loss is reduced to a minimum (exclusive patented system; see the technical diagram on the following page).

The kit is supplied with a flexible aluminum duct (60 cm long), which allows a forced-air intake to be installed beside the grille to improve the airflow. Originally, the CDA kit was designed as a universal system that could be fitted to a very large number of vehicles, thanks to a comprehensive range of accessories (SILICONE sleeves, connectors, reducers, etc.) that facilitate installation. There are two distinct CDA sizes: a model with an external diameter of 130 mm, recommended for engines up to 1600 cc, and a second model with a 150 mm diameter for larger engine capacities.
